Take a three months insurance from India itself from any of your preferred brand name. Then once you are here, after three months most of the students go for:
1) Most of the students who are not GA have opted for ISO insurance. It will cost you around $45 per month. Here is the link for ISO insurance which has all the necessary details:

2) Students who have are GA go for university health insurance. It will cost you around $60 per month. If you are not a GA and want to take university health insurance, it will cost $1300 per year.
